On the 26th September 2009, GAME Engineering Ltd was contacted by Edgar F Shepherd’s who had a fire at their plant in Darlington severely damaging parts of their saw dust processing equipment. The engineers at GAME visited there site immediately to evaluate the extent of the damage, and arra
GAME Engineering Ltd took fire damaged screw conveyors and rebuilt important conveyors within the system using the good parts from damaged conveyors. They also took in the main in feed belt conveyor which included an over band metal detector and rebuilt these using as many parts from the original as possible, and similarly did the same with their belt and bucket elevator all this work was completed along sourcing new parts within three weeks.nged for various conveyors and processing equipment to be delivered to GAME Engineering Ltd for rebuilding in order that Edgar F Shepherd could be operational as soon as possible with minimum impact to their business.
The plant used two ‘Miracle’ mills for size reduction and these where stripped down and rebuilt with a new discharge system giving negative pressure through them in-order to increase their performance which where again returned within the agreed time frame.
